Slight Change to Intermediate Championship Matches
Following on from recent communication from the County Board our first game fixed for Ballyclough against Milstreet on Sun July 24th is now throwing in at 7pm and not at 3pm as previously advertised, this means that our JB2 F C V Kildorrery cannot now go ahead on July 24th as both matches are timed for 7pm.This game will be refixed but is unlikely to take place until August 16th at the earliest. This will be followed by two rounds of hurling an dthen revert back to football which will see us play Glanmire in Castlelyons on Sat Aug 13th at 7pm. With our last round robin game on Sat Sept 3rd in Buttevant v Boherbue at 2pm.
Field Development Lotto Jackpot €6,200
The draw took place in Walsh’s Yard Bar on Thursday night last July 7th with a jackpot of €6,000. Numbers drawn were 3,13,24 and25 with no jackpot winner. Mick Lewis Memorial Golf Classic August 12th
The Mick Lewis Memorial golf classic will take place Fri August 12th with slots available also on Thurs August 11th.At the time of going to press slots are filling up quickly with the Fri shotgun half full . Teams are again €150 for a team of three which includes goody bag, full meal and the opportunity to play on one of Munster’s finest parkland golf courses. Tee box, longest drive and nearest to the pin sponsorship are also available to any patron who for any reason who are unable take part.
