Mick Lewis Memorial Golf Classic on July 1 st
The Mick Lewis Memorial golf classic will take place on Fri July 1 st with slots available also on Thurs
June 30th . Persons who have previously played or sponsored will be contacted in the coming days
and if you wish to play on the shotgun on Friday get your name in fast as this always fills up very
early. Teams are again €150 for a team of three which includes goody bag, full meal and the
opportunity to play on one of Munster’s finest parkland golf courses. Tee box, longest drive and
nearest to the pin sponsorship are also available to any patron who for any reason can not take part.

Field Development Lotto Jackpot €5,600
The draw will take place in Walsh’s Yard Bar on Thursday next June 9 th with a jackpot of €5,600
Numbers drawn were 2,12,15 and 25 with no jackpot winner. The following were lucky dip winners,

Pitch Sanding
The sanding spiking and fertilising of the Limerick Rd grounds is now complete and pitch is fully open
again, an expense of over €6,000 to ensure that the surface will cater for the huge traffic not just
through the summer but well in to the Autumn.

Well, done to Cathal O Mahony who lined out with Cork against Louth on Sunday last and best
wishes when he will hopefully line out with Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh this Saturday June 11 th at 2pm
against Limerick in the All Ireland Football qualifiers.

Huge congrats to our own Brenda Wiley and Mark Cahill and not forgetting former coach Martin O
Brien who were part of the backroom team for the Cork U17 who defeated Kerry in the Munster
final.
