Mitchelstown 1-14 Aghabullogue  2-9

Mitchelstown secured the points in this entertaining Cork Credit Unions Div 2 football league played at Mitchelstown on Friday night last.In a pulsating opening quarter in which the visitors raised the first white flag but points from Sheehan and Magee followed by a Dineen goal and 1-1 from Aghabullouge  inside the opening 8 minutes left the score 1-02 each.Both teams exchanged points before a fruitful 10 minutes saw Mitchelstown score five points without reply. The visitors replied with three points before Jim Sheehan raised the white flag to leave the halftime score 1-09 to 1-06.Both sides gave I ttheir all in the second half but points from English,Sheehan,Magee and Dineen saw Town hold out for a two point win.Team L Hannah, L Finn,A Donegan,K Roche, F Herlihy,R Donegan, J O Sullivan, P Magee (0-3),S Walsh (0-1),C English (0-1),S Beston (0-3), S O Sullivan, S Kenneally,D Dineen (1-2),J Sheehan (0-4). U19 County League 

Mitchelstown 1-10  Kilshannig 2-10

Mitchelstown played the final game in the u19 league on Weds April 27th going under to Kilshannig on the above score line . In an evenly matched contest both teams had scores early on with Mitchelstown having points from S Kenneally,C McNamara,D Sheehan,L Murphy and R Donegan. Kilshannig dominated the closing stages of the first half a C McNamara point followed by A O Grady goal left the half time score 1-06 to 1-05 in favour of town.The second half saw sides exchange points but a Kilshannig goal 10 minutes in to the half proved to be the difference between the sides. Mitchelstown tagged on points from B Baker,K Cotter and L Murphy but just came up short on the night.Team T Nolan,A Barry,E Geary, O Morrissey,O Hanrahan,R Donegan (0-1) ,B Baker (0-1) ,S Kenneally (0-2) , C McNamara (0-2) ,L Murphy (0-2) ,D Sheehan,A O Grady (1-0) ,K Cotter (0-1),D Conroy
