Lotto Jackpot Draw Deferred Again
The notes of March 19 which stated that all club activities will cease have repeated itself once again
as the country was moved to level 5 which effectively shut down all Gaa activities including our lotto
until at least December10th. Lucky dip winners from our last draw were as follows Kieran Fox,
Breda Coffey and Evie Dunne. Next jackpot is a whopping €17,800 and tickets can be purchased at
some retail outlets which remain open, by contacting any lotto member or online at Mitchelstown
gaa.com. Keep an eye out for confirmed date for next draw which will not be before Dec 10 th . May
we take this opportunity to thank you for your support in these funny times.
County Intermediate Football Final
It has now been confirmed after the announcement that Level 5 restrictions mean neither
adult club games nor Training can take place between now and December 1st. The GAA is
adopting a 32-County approach in this context and therefore training for adult teams will
not be allowed in the North either. Mitchelstown’s county final against Rockchapel will not
take place until Mar 2021 at the earliest.
