Passing Of Canon Tim O Leary
The club are deeply saddened at the sudden passing of our club president Canon Tim O Leary on Sunday evening last. Canon Tim as he was affectionately known had been in Mitchelstown over 25 years and I can safely say he was a priest of the people. A man of many talents he had word for every organisation and his knowledge knew no bounds. May his gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.Ar dheis De go raibha a anam diliis.
Votes Of Sympathy
The club extends its sympathy to the family of Paddy Twomey Glanworth Road Mitchelstown, to the family of the late Mary Donegan Brigown, the family of the late Billy McNamara Cross of The Groves, to Brian Burke Mitchelstown and Fethard on the passing of his nephew, and to the family of Mick Cotter Kildorrery a true sports man. May they rest in peace.
