Auction a Huge Success
Auction Night
The club held an auction night to coincide with the presentation of medals to our 2021 J B Football
champions at Walsh’s Yard Bar on Saturday night last. With a capacity crowd, over forty items and
urged on by auctioneer Maurice Walsh the venture was a huge success and surpassed our wildest
dreams. On behalf of all involved we wish to sincerely thank all who purchased items on the night
and especially those who donated items for auction. We are indebted to P Donegan Lehane Motors ,

A Huge congrats to James Lyons winner of the Ed Sheeran tickets for the Friday night concert in Pairc
Ui Chaoimh which were drawn on the night.
Field Development Lotto
The draw took place in Walsh’s Yard Bar on Sat last March 19 th . There was no jackpot winner,
numbers drawn 1,6,17 and 19. The following were lucky dip winners, Martin Sheehan c/o
Mitchelstown Gaa, Josie Price c/o Shapers Hairdressing Salon, Elanor O Shea c/o Amber. Our next
draw will take place on Thurs Mar 31 st In Walsh’s Lounge Bar with a jackpot of €4,600. Tickets can be

Club Membership 2022
With the season having commenced last weekend Club membership for the coming year is now well
overdue and is set at €50 for and adult and €30 for a student. It can be paid direct to any club officer,
by EFT to IE38BOFI90294446339982 giving name for membership or by logging on
to https://mitchelstowngaa.com. All fully paid-up members will then be put on a WhatsApp group
which will give instant updates on all club activities for all age groups from adults down to the six-
year-olds. A new life membership was introduced for 2022 at a cost of €1,000 which can be paid in
full or two payments of€500 or by direct debit over ten or twenty months. Applications for life

Congratulations
Huge congratulations to Kevin O Gorman on his huge achievement when he was announced as the
Worlds no 1 Distiller Master blender at the World Championships held in London in on Thursday
week last.
Well Done
Huge well done to Cathail O Mahony on reaching a milestone on scorning over 50 points (2-46) for
the Cork senior footballers despite missing most of 2021 and 2022.
