Mitchelstown GAA book launch
The history of Mitchelstown GAA was launched at a function in the Firgrove Hotel on Friday night November 6th. A capacity attendance was present for this special event. The guests included Christy Cooney President Mitchelstown GAA and Jimmy O’Gorman Chairman Munster Council GAA.
The book was written by Bob Honohan and gave a very detailed of one of the oldest clubs in the history of the GAA. Mitchelstown club was formed in 1887. Sincere thanks is expressed to all who helped with the collection of the various items that are now recorded in book form.
